4月23日18時許，分局東關派出所接群眾報警稱，漢臺區新橋附近發現一名疑似迷路老人。
值班民警迅速趕到現場，發現老人獨自坐在輪椅上在馬路邊來回張望。經詢問獲悉，老人外出買藥忘記了回家的路，疑似患有阿爾茨海默癥。
民警經多處走訪，終于獲悉老人住址將其送回家中，老人家屬向民警表示感謝。
