根爆料者“KeplerL2”近日分享的信息，索尼未來可能推出的掌機設備，有望具備兼容PlayStation 5游戲的能力。
“KeplerL2”在回應網友關于當前世代游戲是否需要在新掌機上打補丁才能運行的疑問時表示，據他所知，這款設備具有“著色器二進制兼容性（shader binary compatibility）”，因此 PS5 游戲應該能夠“直接運行”，無需開發者專門進行適配。
不過，“KeplerL2”也指出，盡管游戲能夠運行，但在沒有針對性補丁優化的情況下，其運行性能“可能不會很好”。
