月牙潭公園成群的白鷺、黑天鵝、黑水雞、野鴨等野生鳥類悠然棲息、覓食，與前來賞玩的市民、游客共同繪出一幅人與自然和諧共生的美好畫卷。
近年來，月牙潭公園在生態(tài)環(huán)境和生物多樣性保護方面取得顯著成效，公園內(nèi)湖水清澈、植物茂盛，為眾多野生動物提供了理想的棲息地。
