當地時間4月6日，胡塞武裝軍事發言人發布聲明稱，該武裝在紅海北部對敵方軍艦實施了一次交戰行動，使用了多枚巡航導彈和無人機，打擊目標包括以美國“杜魯門”號航母為首的多艘戰艦。此外，胡塞武裝還打擊了一艘為“杜魯門”號航母提供補給的美軍補給艦。
In a post on X, Houthi spokesman claimed the Iran-backed group used 18 ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as one drone, to attack the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group in the northern Red Sea.
據胡塞武裝消息，當地時間4月5日晚間，美軍對也門北部薩達省薩達市西部地區進行了4次空襲。
