US President Donald Trump said on social media Friday that he would grant ByteDance an additional 75-day extension to either sell the popular video-sharing app TikTok to a non-Chinese company or risk being banned in the United States.

特朗普表示，其政府一直在努力推動一項協議以“挽救TikTok”，并“已經取得重大進展”，但達成協議還需要“更多的工作”。

"My Administration has been working very hard on a Deal to SAVE TIKTOK, and we have made tremendous progress," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

2024年4月，時任美國總統拜登簽署一項國會兩院通過的“不賣就禁用”法案，要求TikTok母公司字節跳動在270天內將TikTok出售給非中國企業，否則這款應用程序將在2025年1月19日后在美國被禁用。

In April 2024, then US President Joe Biden signed a law that gave ByteDance 270 days to sell TikTok, citing unfounded national security concerns. If the company failed to comply, the law would require app store operators such as Apple and Google to remove TikTok from their platforms starting on Jan 19, 2025.

今年1月20日，特朗普在上任首日簽署行政令，給予TikTok“不賣就禁用”法律75天寬限期。這一寬限期原定于4月5日到期。

Trump, who took office on Jan 20, previously signed an executive order to delay the TikTok ban by 75 days "to permit my Administration an opportunity to determine the appropriate course of action with respect to TikTok". That extension was set to expire on April 5.
