"I think we will have accomplished most of the work required to reduce the deficit by $1 trillion within that time frame," Musk said.

特朗普回應

據美國《國會山報》報道，當地時間3月31日，美國總統特朗普表示，他預計美國政府效率部負責人馬斯克在完成聯邦政府改革工作后，最終會回歸經營自己的公司。

據報道，當天，特朗普在白宮簽署行政令時，被問及馬斯克的130天任期即將結束一事。特朗普稱贊馬斯克，并表示馬斯克總有一天要回去經營公司。

特朗普還補充稱，他認為馬斯克在公共領域受到的待遇“太糟糕了”。

"At some point, Elon's going to want to go back to his company," he added, arguing that it's "terrible" how Musk has been treated in the public sphere.

在回答有關政府效率部是否會繼續運營的問題時，特朗普表示，政府效率部將“在某一時刻終結”，但未提供具體時間表。
