王鐸行草《臨閣帖》卷是王鐸49歲所臨的古帖，計臨王獻之三帖（廿九日帖、鵝群帖、江東帖），虞世南（飯千僧手疏）、顏真卿（鹿脯帖）各一帖。雖系臨古，而純以自家筆法出之，筆力雄肆厚重，勢峻意密。
