Telling me in China, a communist country, that I could go there and buy a home. Like I pay the mortgage, it is mine month for 70 years. That is my property. I don't ever have to worry about losing my job, getting sick, or just not even being able to pay the bills. It's mine. And then when that 70 years is up, all I have to do is renew the property tax for a small fee. That's nowhere close to the amount that I would have to pay America.
Wow, what a concept. You're telling me that the only property tax that they pay on their vehicle is the small vessel tax that is attached to their insurance that they pay? You're telling me that public spaces such as museums ensues or three, because it's a public space? What a. Concept You're telling me that you can work a part time job as long as you don't make over 5000 of whatever their currency is that you won't be taxed on it? But a concept?
Anybody that has Chinese friends who have emigrated to the us from China, like let's just say late 80s, early 90s, are you, is that where you've experienced anybody that has Chinese friends who have emigrated to the us from China, like let's just say late 80s, early 90s, are you, is that where you've experienced the most anti Chinese propaganda? Because in my lifetime, I have lots of friends, multicultural friends, but when it comes to Chinese propaganda, the us can fill us with so many different things, but those friends of mine who have been back to maybe Shanghai once or Beijing maybe once or twice in their life, but came here in like the late 80s, early 90s, those are the people who have fed me the most antique China know propaganda in my lifetime, like even though I have different experiences when I have traveled, let's just say to Hong Kong and I have spoken and made friends with people who live in China or are from China or travel back and forth frequently, I hear completely different stories and now that I'm on Reno, Xiao Hong s. I'm realizing that those Chinese people that came here in the 80s and 90s are the most propagandized against China. And I would like to understand more why. Because my friends just say like, everything that I'm saying is a lie. That's not true when I in fact know certain things are true because I've seen them with my own eyes.
and.
然后。
I don't know guys. The more I watch Red Note, the more I'm depressed. I just saw a video and the guy was showing his apartment so freaking, it was nice. It was so freaking nice. And he legit just said, when I pay off my mortgage, it's mine and I don't have to pay anything to the government anymore. So if I lose my job or I retire, we don't have a real estate tax. It is just my home. He owns it. He freaking owns it. What the fuck America? I'm curious, like, do other countries do this? Are we the only country? That has been brainwashed to think that like, we need to pay until we die I'm curious.
I don't know guys, the more I watch redne.
The American health care system needs to get the fuck out of here. Okay, this is, this is crazy. I just asked for an itemized bill of earlier this month where I was dying and I needed to be hospitalized for three days. The total of that three day service was $83334 and 33.
For what? For what?
Oh my God, and I'm wondering if I get a degree with this service or walking down the aisle for surviving, you must be out your mind. This is the price of an Ivy League program. Not only was I dysfunctional during half of this stuff, I also didn't ask for half this stuff. I must cure cancer with how much they charge me for blood work. You got to be $6000. It sounds like I need to be reimbursed for all the stuff y'all took out of my body. Here's the fun part, here's the fun part, $10296, you know what that's for, that is for.
the.
那個……
HB room board, semi private med bed, what, who the hell ask for that? I'm go, I just need my airways open. Mind you, I got back problems, I really got back problems for three days in that bed, so make it make sense. I hope you all at home costs like 30 apparently, apparently in a hospital, it's like $462 needed help to open my airways you.
I'm chatting with a new friend in China and their law schools are $798 per year, which just makes me feel so angry because I have like $450000 in debt just to go to law school. And I'm explaining this extremely fucking bonkers system that we have. And I'm like, this is a slave contract because I'll never be able to pay back these loans for my entire life. Like I or in my lifetime, I will never pay back my student loans without a loan forgiveness program ever. And I am just so fucking angry that this is the system that we are forced to deal with, that this is the system we are fucking stuck in and trapped in. And I'm fucking sick of it.
I've been scrolling Red Note for hours and the grocery hauls you guys this. This is why they wanted us to hate China.
Okay, so I'm seeing everyone go over to Reno and they're starting to see the Chinese grocery hauls, how much average folks can afford at the grocery store and not just how much, but like how high quality the food is.
in the everyday lives of Chinese people, like obviously certain Chinese people not seeing everybody's lives. It's just like insanely eye - opening interesting seeing how lighthearted and kind and gentle these people are, especially in comparison to Americans.
You all have shown me a side of Chinese culture that I never thought exist, but thanks to the American propaganda machines telling us otherwise, everything with the us propaganda completely failed. But they have also just brought us closer, something that we're supposed to see.
US citizens now are connected to Chinese citizen, the entire like us propaganda machine that makes us afraid of them, that makes us think that their lives are shitty or like in this authoritarian realm, it's just completely shattered, it's broken.
Tell us about China. For decades now that we've all gotten on Red Note and we can see the lifestyle that all of the Chinese people have, a lot of us Americans are the price of going out to eat, the price of groceries, public transportation, and the people on Red Note are soberg asted that we have to work two jobs just to keep our roof over our head. Us government a big time, which is not a surprise because you do it constantly, even if TikTok gets banned. I've seen enough, I have been woken up. I grew up fed propaganda that China is evil and that they treat their citizens like shit. I mean, I was raised by Maga is the main reason why I feel so radicalized.
American culture, American society is toxic, gross, poisonous. They poison our food, they jack the prices up of everything. We don't get health care, we don't get good public transportation, even though we're all on the same spot continent. We destroy the planet for money, power and control. Our government is funky as fuck on the left and on the right. Don't get a twist. This is a class war and I will not be giving this fight up. We deserve soft.
Help? I'm crying right now. I don't know if you can see that. I'm pretty sure the United States has lied to us about who China is. They've always told us very unique things about that, about your country, and just my experience on your seen and her such grace and such welcome.
I am no longer convinced that we are living in a first world country, seeing the everyday lives of Chinese people. Most of these Chinese people, even older people, like people in their 40s, 60s, 60s, they look so much less traumatized than most Americans. Our citizens here are not only like we really cold, mean and disconnected and combative, but like you can just people's problems on their face. You can see that they are exhausted and that they've been brutalized. Now, I don't fully understand Chinese culture, but it's interesting seeing how lighthearted in kind and gentle these people are, especially in comparison to Americans. We just have so much dark energy lagging this country and plaguing the people. And it's just like, like we live in so many layers of deception. Like, I don't know if we ever actually, you know, what's happening?
Hey, what's up red note? I just started my account. I am a TikTok refugee. I used to do tech videos.
and my TikTok refugee.
as TikTok faces a potential ban by the us government, thousands of TikTok creators flock to Chinese social media app Xiao Hong Shu Red Note with many Chinese users on the platform leaving comments like welcome.
Hello friends from China.
I am yet another TikTok refugee. Thank you for providing shelter for us. It has been a rough few months, let me tell you, finding out that TikTok might get banned. It is our one app where we can actually say what we think mostly and where we get news about what's going on in other parts of the world, stuff that we wouldn't normally see on other social media sites or on the TV news. So to find this app is really exciting. So my Chinese friends, if you have any questions about the American culture I'd be happy to help.
I'm a TikTok refugee. TikTok just got banned in the United States of America today. This morning, it's like full of America. It's like only English. I thought I clicked the wrong up. The government is trying so hard to take it away from wait till they find out we're all moving to the Chinese version.
