現生活和工作于美國邁阿密
法利·阿吉拉爾（Farley Aguilar） 將原始的石墨線條與充滿表現力的油彩相結合，跨越了時間的界限； 他相信，通過繪畫的觸感直接重新詮釋美國歷史的瞬間，能夠揭示出國家當前狀況的某些方面。 阿吉拉爾改變了圖像如何影響我們對歷史乃至當下的認知。
他的藝術實踐核心是人性：為那些被剝奪尊嚴的人恢復尊嚴，同時動搖那些剝奪他人尊嚴者的地位。他關注的是那些由文化條件支持的結構性和制度性暴力，這些暴力維持著美國的意識形態，并持續著壓迫的循環。
盡管他的作品主題看似是歷史的，但他筆下人物的冷靜目光卻將這些場景拉回到當下。阿吉拉爾的畫布下蘊含著對社會正義的追求，他認為畫家肩負著道德責任。在他的多彩畫面中，也流露出一絲希望：只有當我們承認歷史并直面其遺留問題時，我們才能開辟出新的道路。
