Iraqi airways officially resumes flights from Baghdad to Guangzhou

2023年10月11日凌晨3點(diǎn)，伊拉克航空 (Iraqi airways)的一架波音787夢(mèng)想客機(jī)平穩(wěn)抵達(dá)廣州白云國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)，標(biāo)志著巴格達(dá)至廣州航線正式復(fù)航。伊拉克航空中國(guó)區(qū)首席代表阿里先生出席了在機(jī)場(chǎng)的復(fù)航慶典儀式，歡迎復(fù)航后的首班旅客及機(jī)組人員，并一同歡送首班出發(fā)旅客。

At 3 a.m. on October 11, 2023, an Iraqi airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner arrived smoothly at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, marking the official resumption of flights from Baghdad to Guangzhou. Mr. Ali, Chief Representative of Iraqi airways in China, attended the resumption ceremony at the airport, welcomed the passengers and crew of the first flight after the resumption of flights, and bid farewell to the first departing passengers.

根據(jù)復(fù)航計(jì)劃，廣州至巴格達(dá)為每周兩班，IA474每周三、周日上午5:00點(diǎn)（北京時(shí)間）從廣州白云機(jī)場(chǎng)出發(fā)，8:00點(diǎn)（巴格達(dá)時(shí)間）抵達(dá)巴格達(dá)國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)；IA473每周二、周六下午14:00點(diǎn)（巴格達(dá)時(shí)間）從巴格達(dá)國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)出發(fā)，次日上午3:00點(diǎn)（北京時(shí)間）抵達(dá)廣州白云國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)。該航線采用伊拉克航空最新引進(jìn)的波音787夢(mèng)想客機(jī)執(zhí)飛，采用經(jīng)濟(jì)艙和公務(wù)艙兩艙布局。

According to the resumption plan, there are two flights per week from Guangzhou to Baghdad. IA474 departs from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 5:00 am (Beijing time) every Wednesday and Sunday and arrives at Baghdad International Airport at 8:00 am (Baghdad time) ; IA473 departs from Baghdad International Airport at 14:00 pm (Baghdad time) every Tuesday and Saturday and arrives at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 3:00 am (Beijing time) the next day. This route is operated by Iraqi airways’ newly purchased Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with a two-class layout of Economy Class and Business Class.

Iraqi airways is the national airline of Iraq and one of the airlines with the longest history in the Middle East. It uses Baghdad International Airport as its hub and flies to more than 50 destinations in Iraq and the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia. Iraqi airways is continuing to expand and renew its fleet to further meet the growth of the business and leisure travel markets in the region. Iraqi airways has signed an order agreement with Boeing and Airbus for 31 aircrafts, including 16 Boeing 737MAX, 10 Boeing 787 and 5 Airbus A220. Since the beginning of this year, Iraqi airways has received part of the Boeing 737 MAX order and 2 Boeing 787-8.

中國(guó)和伊拉克均為文明古國(guó)，兩大文明的交往可以追溯到2000多年前的古絲綢之路。今年是中國(guó)和伊拉克建交65周年，也是共建“一帶一路”倡議提出10周年。伊拉克是最早加入共建“一帶一路”合作的阿拉伯國(guó)家之一，兩國(guó)2015年簽署共建“一帶一路”合作文件。近年來(lái)，伊拉克經(jīng)濟(jì)逐漸復(fù)蘇，兩國(guó)往來(lái)也日益密切，中伊兩國(guó)直航航線的恢復(fù)有助于進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)兩國(guó)在經(jīng)貿(mào)、投資、文化、能源、科技等領(lǐng)域的商業(yè)聯(lián)系，搭建新時(shí)代“空中絲路”，進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)中伊戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系不斷向前發(fā)展。

China and Iraq are both countries with ancient civilizations. The exchanges between the two civilizations can be traced back to the ancient Silk Road more than 2,000 years ago. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iraq, and the 10th anniversary of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Iraq was one of the first Arab countries to join the Belt and Road Initiative. The two countries signed a cooperation document on the Belt and Road Initiative in 2015.

In recent years, Iraq's economy has gradually recovered, and exchanges between the two countries have become increasingly closer. The resumption of direct flights between China and Iraq will help further strengthen commercial ties between the two countries in the fields of economy and trade, investment, culture, energy, science and technology, and build the “Aerial Silk Road” of a new era, which will further promote the continuous development of China-Iraq strategic partnership.
